Checking In

Posted by Joel on July 6th, 2008 filed in General stuff

Hey all.  Sunday afternoon.  I finally feel up to writing today.  The fatigue that I have been experiencing is hard to describe other than overhwhelming.  Today, I feel good and am looking forward to tackling the day.  All in all, I can’t complain.  The doctors said we’d experience the fatigue and pretty much indicated that was the one side effect that they couldn’t control.  With all the other side effects that could have hit me to date, I’ll take the tired, a couple naps does you good anyway? eh?  2nd round of chemo should peak in about 2-3 weeks so we’ll continue the fatigue battle for a little while longer…no worries.

Getting caught up on all the baseless tv this weekend like the hot dog eating contest on espn.  58 hot dogs in 10 minutes with buns.  Obviously no swallowing problems for that guy.  Only in America…I love it.

Gonna keep it short today.  Thanks out to Kyle for the Big as my head Burrito…as always that was a home run.  Talk at you soon

Joel, It’s good to hear from you again. I hope the Cardinals do as well today as yesterday. I liked April’s synopsis of the 9th inning. She might be able to join Mike Shannon with the play by play. Talk to you later. Paula

You’re just feeling fatigued ’cause you’re 38 now, old fart!

Happy Belated Birthday Joel, glad to hear you had a good day, however, since I’m a Cubs fan, can’t say I was real pleased with the way the game ended. Oh well.. we’re very happy to hear that you’re feeling reasonably well. Keep your spirits up, you’re doing great.
