Hello —
Rachel is on the Cardinals basketball team (as in Ball State — since other teams are the Irish, Boilermakers, Hoosiers, Sycamores, etc.). Her uniform color is red and in the top picture, she is the one holding her hands behind her back. She only had one practice before her first games on Sunday, so considering that fact, she played really well! She has her practices once a week and two games each Sunday — so by the end of this short five week season, I bet I will have pictures of her dunking.

Wasn’t it the year you,Rod and Hyatt were at Purdue that the Boilermakers were beaten by the Cardinals? You might ask Mark to be sure. Quess you guys were tied up and unable to give them pointers that year.

That was probably the game that Rod’s boy, Waddell Washington, was hurt and couldn’t play. It’s Hiatt with an “I” Kath. I thought we were closer than that!

Thanks for the pictures of Rachel at her ballgame. I generally like the Cardinal team name but not for the same reasons as Connie does. I do think that is a good way of naming the teams. Hope she has fun during the basketball season.
